“It is not only by far the stiffest titanium frameset that Roadbike has ever measured; the results are also exceptional in absolute terms and are, without any qualification, suitable for racing.”
Roadbike (December 2014)
The Aristos RS Disc isn’t just a sporting superstar. It’s much more than that. It’s the machine that costs you sleep. It’s the reason that, after a hard week’s work, you’re up at 6am on Sunday morning. It’s what reminds you of your dream, your goal. It smells of adrenaline, asphalt and speed. A genuine racing machine. An unadulterated racing bike: honest, straightforward, direct. With the rider centre-stage. Going into combat, visor up.
With its disc brakes, this unbeatable thoroughbred is rolling into the future of racing machines. Front and rear thru-axles improve stability and steering precision, and ensure maximum performance from the disc braking system: optimal braking control, wet or dry – whether for fine-touch speed adjustment or extreme stopping. Narrow-walled tubing, tapered inside and out, ensures lowest-possible weight together with exceptional stiffness, and the 44mm head tube provides the main tubes with broad contact points for extra front-end rigidity, meaning precise steering and perfect handling.
With its X-15 thru-axle, our in-house developed titanium fork matches the asymmetric braking forces without distorting, and the X-12-equipped rear triangle will not yield to even the roughest out-of-saddle riding. The brace-reinforced chain stays find a broad mounting area on the wide PressFit bottom bracket shell. The frame geometry follows the bike’s race focus, with the saddle significantly higher than the handlebars; it can also be supplied without no under-stem spacer.
The Aristos RS is available with a selection of Shimano groupsets, and is built with exceptionally light Tune Components wheels. From Autumn 2016 we will also be offering the new Campagnolo Super Record disc braking system. Alongside the standard Syntace components, a Falkenjagd-based Titanium package is available, plus a Tune Components package in a selection of anodised colours.
